How are you all doing with back to school? Did your kids go back this week? Or have you already been back in the routine for a couple of weeks?
We just started back on Tuesday and we’ve had a great week so far. Our new schedule is working. Learning is happening. I feel so blessed that I get to homeschool my little ones. Well they aren’t so little anymore – grades 3, 5 and 7 this year!

I’m super excited to share a few of your projects this week – I’m telling ya, there are some great ones we may just have to try for ourselves here at Chez Acheson!
I think this has got to by my favourite DIY tray EVER! It must be the combination of the cute little bun feet, chalkboard and distressing that makes me love it so much! Would you believe it’s also made from a cupboard door? Uh-huh! Go check out how Larissa made this little beauty.

Oh Angela, how I love your grey spaces with hits of yellow! This old telephone table (we had one when I was growing up and I remember talking to my grandma while sitting on it) has such pizzaz sporting its new yellow paint job.
_____
And who doesn’t love a nicely distressed Union Jack? This one is adorable atop a small side table over at Fine Point Creations.

Being a big fan of adding architectural interest where there is none, I really like the addition of faux board and batten in Bre’s master bedroom. It just adds that certain cozy factor, don’t you think?

So glad school has started well. My middle son just started Kindergarten and he loves it!
Thanks so much for featuring my chair! I didn’t realise the ages of your children–I have a third & fifth grader this year, too.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
